VetkinTape® – A Brand by THYSOL Group
THYSOL Group BV teamed up with veterinary professionals to develop a VetkinTape® for animals. The development of VetkinTape® was made possible because THYSOL Group had its own production facility and cooperating partners. THYSOL has knowledge and expertise of human as well as veterinary application all provided by their own Research and development facilities in Seoul, Korea.
The tape needed to be for veterinary application, due to many different factors such as skin, muscles structure and anatomy.
All these factors were considered when developing this new innovative veterinary kinesiology tape. The result, VetkinTape®, a tape that has an outstanding adhesive acrylic layer and provides maximum results for the veterinary market.
Mission
The mission of VetkinTape® is to develop and market veterinary kinesiology tape, and to educate animal physiotherapists and veterinary professionals in the different applications and taping techniques. Our primary goal is to improve the condition of the animal’s body.
To achieve this, VetkinTape® provide a range of medical tapes, tools and medical equipment to support, improve and stimulate the movement of all parts of the animal’s body. VetkinTape® is constantly searching for innovative new methods and ways to treat the ‘immovability’ of animals, without the use of chemical substances (e.g., pharmaceuticals, medicine).
By screening veterinary success stories, VetkinTape® wants to ensure animals everywhere (and their animal physio’s and veterinary professionals) have access to treatments from all over the world. VetkinTape® has a philosophy that the products -combined with the right method and concept- should help, support and speed-up the body’s recovery.
Equine Kinesiology Tape
Equine kinesiology taping is a physiotherapy treatment and has various applications. It can be applied between competitive elements of many international equine events to speed recovery and improve endurance.
In recreational riding, it alleviates discomfort from acute and chronic injuries. Veterinary professionals and equine physiotherapists use this technique daily to treat muscle injuries, biomechanical and postural dysfunction and aid performance and recovery time. It is particularly valuable in rehabilitation of horses.
